ClipUp respects your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it. We are GDPR-aware and minimize personal data where possible.
1. Data We Collect
We collect: (a) account data (email, name, company/brand name, website, platform, niche) provided at signup; (b) campaign and submission data (content references, clip URLs, CPM rates, approval status); (c) usage data (logs, analytics) to operate and improve the service; (d) payment-related data as needed for payouts and invoicing.
2. How We Use Data
We use your data to operate the platform, verify performance, process payments, and communicate with you. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Legal Basis (GDPR)
For users in the EEA/UK, we process data based on: (a) contract performance (providing the service); (b) legitimate interests (fraud prevention, analytics, improvement); (c) consent where required (e.g. marketing). You may withdraw consent at any time.
4. Data Retention
We retain account and transaction data as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax, or dispute resolution purposes. You may request deletion of your data subject to these obligations.
5. Your Rights
Under GDPR and similar laws, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, port, and object to processing of your data. Contact privacy@clipup.xyz to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
6. Data Sharing
We share data with: (a) service providers (hosting, payments, analytics) under strict agreements; (b) Creators and Clippers as needed for campaigns and payouts; (c) authorities when required by law.
7. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is fully secure—we encourage strong passwords and careful handling of credentials.
8. International Transfers
Data may be processed in jurisdictions outside the EEA. We use appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.
9. Children
ClipUp is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
